Responsibilities

Plan and teach engaging lessons across Grade 3 subjects. Strengthen pupils’ reading, writing, numeracy and problem-solving skills. Prepare lesson notes, teaching materials and classroom activities. Set and mark classwork, homework and assessments, providing helpful feedback. Monitor pupils’ progress and give extra support where needed. Maintain an orderly classroom and encourage good behaviour, confidence and participation. Keep accurate attendance and assessment records, and communicate with parents about pupils’ progress. Participate in staff meetings, school activities and assigned supervision duties.

Previous teaching experience is an advantage.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Minimum WASSCE/SSSCE or equivalent, with good English and Mathematics skills. A teaching certificate, diploma, HND or degree is an added advantage. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
