Responsibilities
Teach Science effectively at the Upper Primary level using engaging, practical and learner-centred methods. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, class exercises and assessments in line with the school curriculum. Conduct simple science experiments and practical activities that encourage curiosity and critical thinking. Monitor pupils’ academic progress, provide timely feedback and support learners who need additional help. Maintain effective classroom management and a safe, disciplined learning environment. Keep accurate academic records and work collaboratively with other teachers and school management. Participate in school activities, meetings, training programmes and other duties assigned by management.

Requirements and Skills
Strong interest in Science and enthusiasm for teaching young learners. Good spoken and written English with the ability to explain concepts clearly and simply. Patient, responsible, punctual and willing to learn. Must be confident working with children and able to maintain good classroom discipline. Curious, creative and willing to use practical activities and experiments to make Science interesting. Good interpersonal and teamwork skills. Must be teachable, open to feedback and willing to follow the school’s teaching methods and standards. Basic computer skills will be an advantage.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
WASSCE/SSSCE, Diploma or HND with a background in Science or a related field. Applicants should have a good foundation in Science and a genuine interest in teaching and working with children. Previous teaching experience is an advantage but not required. Candidates with the right attitude, good communication skills, willingness to learn and strong potential will be considered and trained. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is teachable, responsible, enthusiastic and passionate about helping children learn.
