Responsibilities
Feed and provide clean water to goats and other farm animals. Clean animal pens and maintain good farm hygiene. Cut and prepare grass/feed. Monitor animals for sickness, injuries or unusual behaviour and report immediately. Assist with breeding, births and care of young animals. Help with medication and routine animal care when instructed. Maintain farm equipment and keep the farm environment clean and secure.

Requirements and Skills
Must be hardworking, honest, responsible and punctual. Must be physically fit and comfortable working with animals. Ability to identify basic signs of sickness in animals is an advantage. Must be able to follow instructions, work independently and maintain cleanliness. Experience in goat, sheep, poultry or general livestock farming is preferred.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Minimum JHS qualification. SHS, agricultural training or livestock/farming certificate is an advantage. At least 1 year practical experience in animal farming is preferred.
